What a fantastic morning year 5 pupils from Harriers had at Futures Institute. They made deployable structures – origami water bombs! They also looked at sustainability and came up with loads of ideas for how to recycle and reuse a piece of tech (an iPad). Some of the ideas included underwater charging, alarm clock, litter notifier and solar power.
Harriers staff and pupils would like to thank Dr Pickup for arranging our visit and for an engaging session, and thank you to the year 9 ambassadors who were wonderful at supporting the children throughout.
