ASPIRATIONS WORK EXPERIENCE DIPLOMA (AWED)
The AWED is a new course that opens up experiences of the workplace to any young person, improving social mobility, broadening and deepening learning around the employment and enterprise market.
The content is currently split across 21 different sectors with a variety of introductory experiences and longer, project-based challenges which incorporate teaching content from businesses and organisations, mentoring and feedback from their staff, visits and shadowing within the workplace and reflection from students about their personal knowledge, skills and behaviours development.
