Just before the end of last term, students in Years 7, 8 and 9 took part in an exciting STEM and Computing workshop delivered by Exa Networks. Exa Networks have been contracted by Eko, part of the Ministry of Defence, to provide these engaging events aimed at inspiring young people to explore the possibilities within computing and STEM-related careers. The hands-on, interactive workshop was led by a STEM teacher and encouraged students to think creatively about how science, technology, engineering and mathematics can be used to solve real-world problems. Through a range of practical activities, pupils developed their problem-solving skills and gained valuable insight into the many opportunities available within STEM industries.
